Rover Resort was founded in 2002 to be truly unique: a luxury pet hotel and daycare, with plush amenities, dedicated attention, and customer service. At the core of it was a promise to respect the wishes and detailed instructions pet parents had left for their furry friends, and to love them as if they were their own. The goal was to build an incredible pet care facility that everybody would be proud of — pets, their neighbors, their families, and themselves. General Manager
Animals have been my passion from a very young age. I have had dogs, cats and a rabbit growing up. I have been a volunteer for Operation Kindness, a no-kill shelter in Carrollton. My husband and I have had Border Collies over the past 29 years. I enjoyed training them myself in obedience, off-leash work and in agility. We now also have three grandpups owned by our two daughters - a Catahoula Leopard, a Shepherd/Carolina Dog mix and a Husky/Shepherd mix. Since my husband will disown me if I allow one more dog in our house, Rover Resort is the perfect place for me to share my passion of animals.
I started in this field at our sister facility, Sparta Pet Palazzo in Plano, as an animal care attendant. I also held positions as Customer Service Rep and Assistant Manager before becoming a general manager. Rover Resort is a gorgeous facility. The staff is welcoming and the clients are amazing!
Groomer
Michelle has been grooming for 9 years. She chose to work with animals because animals have an unconditional love that should be shared. As a dog groomer, she educates the public on how to reciprocate this love and care for their animals by maintaining their skin and coat. Additionally, dog grooming allows her to also display her creativity in ways that she enjoys sharing with the public. Michelle is certified in CPR and Basic Life Support First Aid. Working at Rover Resort, we are truly thankful for allowing us to work with your pets, from our family to yours, where safety and our love for animals is our priority!
