Canine Acupuncture and Chiropractor Care
Rover Resort likes happy and healthy pups! Jennifer Smallwood, DVM CVM CVA offers canine chiropractic and acupuncture services every other Saturday at the resort by appointment only. Dr. Smallwood, a fully-licensed Veterinarian, additionally offers cold laser treatments to her patients. Sometimes a little adjustment can bring a whole lot of happy back to a pup’s tail.
Dr. Smallwood describes her veterinary practice as one dedicated to the application of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) acupuncture techniques as an adjunctive therapy for conditions in horses, dogs, and cats. Acupuncture offers potential additional treatment options for musculoskeletal pain management, fertility disorders, endocrine disorders, neurological disorders, GI and respiratory disorders. Acupuncture can also be used to help manage pain in chemotherapy patients.
Since we always strive to provide the best foods, supplements, and products that support a healthy lifestyle for our treasured guests, we’re very excited to add Dr. Smallwood’s care to the array of services offered at the resort.
